Safety
This category is designed to teach students safety skills in various situations. Students will join Timon and Pumbaa as they teach fire safety, water safety, environmental safety, travel safety, online safety, emotional safety and driving safety. In addition, Bill Nye the Science Guy will teach students interesting and valuable science safety lessons.
AS a UL Safety ambassador, health world provides these programs free of charge thanks to the generous support of underwriters laboratories (UL) for grades k-8.
Students will join Timon and Pumbaa as they learn about fire safety. Grades K
Students will join Timon and Pumbaa as they make sure the land, water, and air around them are clean and safe.
Timon and Pumbaa show students how to be healthy and fit with their germ-free philosophy.
Students will join Timon and Pumbaa as they make sure their new home is Safety Smart®.
Students will join Timon and Pumbaa as they learn about being Safety Smart® in and around water.
Timon and Pumbaa show students how to identify and practice good character traits such as honesty, kindness, and responsibility.
Students learn the importance of protecting their personal information, and how to be responsible online.
Go on location with Bill Nye at Underwriters Laboratories as he explains the power—and danger—of electricity in a very entertaining way.
Bill Nye the Science Guy shows students how hand-washing, getting nutritious foods, and getting enough exercise and sleep can help the human body fight illness.
Students will learn about the four Safety Smart® points of safe travel: Slow Down, Pay Attention, Use Proper Equipment, and Don't Distract.
