HW Inc & Affiliates (collectively “HW” or "we") are committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Statement may be updated at any time without notice by posting a revised statement on the healthworldeducation.org website (the "Site"). Because HW gathers certain types of information about the users of the Site and the various services available on the Site or separately ("Services"), we believe you should fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the use of the information we collect. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for the Site and the HW Learning Environment (a collaborative, web-based application for supporting teaching-learning processes for schools and groups). Please review the following statement to understand how the information you provide to HW through our Site or otherwise will be treated. In addition, this Site may contain links to other web sites. HW is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such other web sites. We recommend you refer to each such other web site's privacy policy before giving out any personal information. HW has two kinds of relationships covered by this Privacy Statement: a) Institutions (called Educational Partners) that use the Atlas Learning, Inc. (cosmos) platform to create and deliver courses or content for such courses (the "Atlas Learning, Inc. Learning Environment "), which are covered by specific contracts; and b) Individuals visiting and using the Site and Education Partner web sites. HW has no control over the use of information collected separately by Educational Partners.

Why We Collect Information

HW and the Atlas Learning, Inc. platform collects personal information from its users for several reasons. When providing online educational services using the Atlas Learning, Inc. platform, Atlas Learning, Inc. electronically collects the student, teacher, parent, and administrator information required by educational institutions from those taking or teaching courses at the physical institution. Atlas Learning, Inc. stores this information on its servers and makes the information available to the institution. In an online medium, detailed affirmation of users' identities and their actions while using Atlas Learning, Inc. products is necessary to verify that course participants and permitted users are legitimate. The information provided during registration, such as e-mail address, institution affiliation, and zip code, may be used to create personalized content. Atlas Learning, Inc. is dedicated to the integrity of its customer base so the law is not unknowingly broken through its member population. Atlas Learning, Inc. must handle personal information of our users and must know who each member is, have proof of that member's identity, know how to contact that member, and occasionally verify how the member is using the Atlas Learning, Inc. Learning Environment or Site. Demographic information about our member base allows Atlas Learning, Inc. to provide products that meet the needs of its users. Understanding our user base means marketing activities will be relevant to the user. Atlas Learning, Inc. and third party licensees may use non-personally identifiable profile information to generate aggregate reports and market research in the form of statistics. This information is not capable of being matched with your personally identifiable information. Atlas Learning, Inc. surveys and reviews the demographic nature of our users on a regular basis in an attempt to improve our products and enhance the online learning for our users.

How We Collect Information

HW is powered by Atlas Learning, Inc., which gathers personal information primarily through registration screens. We use cookie technology to enable certain functionality within the Atlas Learning, Inc. products. Cookies are packets of information sent by a web server to a browser, stored temporarily by that browser, and then sent back by the browser upon the server's request. You must accept browser cookies to access Atlas Learning, Inc. member areas. Atlas Learning, Inc. cookies are used only for authentication and session state information. When you quit your browser, the cookie will be erased from memory. Atlas Learning, Inc. does not use cookies to gather personal information about you. We use cookie technology to gather non-personal usage data only. This information helps us to continually improve the usefulness of the information we provide at the Site. In addition providers of content to Atlas Learning, Inc. provide Atlas Learning, Inc. with student information for authentication and course information.

What We Do With the Information We Collect

HW’s e-learning is available on the Atlas Learning, Inc. platform. Should educators decide to utilize the features of Atlas Learning, Inc., the UserID you select during registration must be used to log in and participate in the Atlas Learning, Inc. System. Once you log in, you will be identified to the instructor and other students by your full name in areas such as discussion forums, email lists, and other places where names appear. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes available to the instructor and other students in that course, and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information. Atlas Learning, Inc. makes chat rooms, forums, message boards, and/or news groups available from time to time. Please remember that any information in these areas becomes public information, and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information. The personal information you supply to Atlas Learning, Inc. will not be given, sold, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed to any third parties outside of Atlas Learning, Inc., except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to (i) comply with legal process, (ii) enforce the Terms of Use, (iii) respond to claims that any content on cosmos.school violates the rights of third parties, or (iv) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Atlas Learning, Inc., its users, or the public. Atlas Learning, Inc. may use aggregated personal information to determine the demographics of our users and to distribute statistics and general marketplace information about Atlas Learning, Inc.. These demographics will always represent aggregate information and will never identify a specific user. Certain non-personal information regarding users is recorded by the standard operation of the Internet servers hosting the Site. This information is primarily used to provide visitors to the Site with an enhanced online experience. Atlas Learning, Inc. may disclose aggregated user statistics in order to describe the service to prospective partners, advertisers, and other third parties, and for other lawful purposes. Some features of Cosmos.school may be offered in conjunction with a partner. In order to provide these features, it may be necessary for either you or us to share your personal information with this partner. If you do not want your information to be shared, you can choose not to allow the transfer by not using that particular feature. Also, please be aware that advertisers or Web sites that are linked to Cosmos.school may collect personally identifiable information about you. This Privacy Statement does not cover the information practices of those Web sites linked to cosmos.school and Atlas Learning, Inc. is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites.

Privacy of Children

HW and Atlas Learning, Inc. are COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) compliant. Children under 13 do not register with Atlas Learning, Inc. or provide personal information to Atlas Learning, Inc. without parental or guardian permission.

Access to Your Information

Atlas Learning, Inc. offers users the ability to correct or change the information collected during registration. Users may change this information at any time and as necessary by choosing the "edit my profile" option offered by the Service.

Security

All of your personal information is stored on servers at a location designed specifically to ensure that no unauthorized individuals have access to the server or its data.

Contacting the Web Site

Upon request, an individual shall be informed of the existence, use, and disclosure of the user's personal information and given access to that information. Any individual shall be able to challenge the accuracy and completeness of the information and have it amended as appropriate.

HW and Atlas Learning, Inc. does not control the Content posted via the Service and, as such, does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such Content. You agree to indemnify and hold HW Inc and Atlas Learning, Inc., and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, co-branders or other partners, and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of Content you submit, post, transmit or make available through the Service, your use of the Service, your connection to the Service, your violation of the Terms of Service, or your violation of any rights of another.

7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT:

a. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. ATLAS LEARNING, INC.EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

b. HW Inc AND ATLAS LEARNING, INC. MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT ( i ) THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, (ii) THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, (iii) THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, (iv) THE QUALITY OF ANY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, INFORMATION, OR OTHER MATERIAL PURCHASED OR OBTAINED BY YOU THROUGH THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS, (v) ANY ERRORS IN THE SOFTWARE WILL BE CORRECTED, (vi) OR THAT THIS WEB SITE, ITS CONTENT, AND THE SERVERS ON WHICH THE WEB SITE AND CONTENT ARE AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

d. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED BY YOU FROM HW Inc OR ATLAS LEARNING, INC. OR THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICE SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THE TERMS OF SERVICE.

e. INFORMATION CREATED BY THIRD PARTIES THAT YOU MAY ACCESS ON THE SITE OR THROUGH LINKS IS NOT ADOPTED OR ENDORSED BY ATLAS LEARNING, INC. AND REMAINS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF SUCH THIRD PARTIES.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT HW Inc AND ATLAS LEARNING, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF ATLAS LEARNING, INC.HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), RESULTING FROM: ( i ) THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (ii) THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS AND SERVICES RESULTING FROM ANY GOODS, DATA, INFORMATION OR SERVICES PURCHASED OR OBTAINED OR MESSAGES RECEIVED OR TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICE; (iii) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA; (iv) STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; OR (v) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SERVICE.

9. EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. ACCORDINGLY, SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OF SECTIONS 8 AND 9 MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

10. Modifications to Service

HW Inc and Atlas Learning, Inc. reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that HW Inc and Atlas Learning, Inc. shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

HW Inc and Atlas Learning, Inc. may change, add or remove any part of this Agreement, or any other terms associated with the use of the site, at any time, by posting a notice of such changes to the Terms of Service page of the web site. Any changes shall become part of the Agreement and shall apply as soon as such a notice is posted. By continuing to use the Service after the notice is posted, you are indicating your acceptance of those changes.

11. Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the other provisions of this Agreement will remain in force.

12. Refusal or Discontinuance of Service

HW Inc and Atlas Learning, Inc. reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any user for non-compliance with these Terms of Service.

13. Headings for Convenience Only

The section titles in the Terms of Service are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.

14. Choice of Law and Forum

This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any dispute arising from the terms of this agreement or breach of this agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois and you agree to personal jurisdiction by the state and federal courts sitting in Chicago, Illinois. The parties hereby expressly waive trial by jury in any action, proceeding or counterclaim brought by either of the parties against the other on any matters whatsoever arising out of or in any way connected with these Terms and Conditions and agree to submit to binding arbitration.

15. Digital Millennium Copyright Act
